Updating this Android device. “Choose one of the options: ‘Defer’, ‘Reject’.” WHAT DOES IT MEAN? Don’t these essentially result in the same outcome? Neither of these seem to to be an affirmative action; which one do I press to apply the update? ‘Defer’ means wait, ‘Reject’ means stop/dismiss. If I must ‘Choose one of the options’ Which option do I choose to install the update? Terrible, terrible labels. Better choices would have been:‘Don’t Install’, ‘Install’‘Not Now’, ‘Install Now’‘Don’t Update’, “Apply Update” There. Three options that would have been better, and it took me all of 30 seconds. Even the venerable but still awful ‘Cancel’ and ‘OK’ would have been better. But at least it’s pretty. Wait, no, not pretty… the other thing.

Better choices would have been:
‘Don’t Install’, ‘Install’
‘Not Now’, ‘Install Now’
‘Don’t Update’, “Apply Update”
