For the uninitiated: Duck the Cat is basically a beautiful furball with a pretty face. A pretty face that always looks slightly pissed.

What, Jeopardy can’t afford an em dash?
At first this season, I was like “Mad Men, you’re LOSTing it…” and then I was like “okay, maybe not…”
Now I’m like “man you don’t know anything - you almost missed out on television like this.”
Oh ye of little faith.
But really I’ve never noticed a decline this season. Having grown increasingly tired of zombies, vampires, werewolves and the rest of the supernatural roster, I keep coming back here. It’s this show’s deliberate pace and subtlety that make it so reliably engaging. I come back to it to see new ripples in the pond, not waves.
